Sous ce titre provocateur , nous visiterons une période passionnante de sept siècles de relations entre l’Eglise d’Occident et la danse . Une présentation de l’attitude ambivalente de l’Église et de la danse au Moyen Âge à travers des représentations dansées du VIIIe au XVe siècle
Notre guide sera le Dr Catherine Ingrassia spécialiste en Danse Médiévale qui a consacré sa vie à restituer ces danses en fouillant toutes les sources possibles . Et le résultat amène à de merveilles qu’elle partagera avec nous !

Under this provocative title, we will visit an exciting period of seven centuries of relations between the Western Church and dance. A presentation of the ambivalent attitude of the Church and dance in the Middle Ages through dance performances from the 8th to the 15th century
Our guide will be Dr Catherine Ingrassia specialist in Medieval Dance who has dedicated her life to restoring these dances by searching all possible sources . And the result brings wonders that she will share with us!
An important contribution to the little-known field of dance history in the Christian Church
