4th World Festival of Indian Dance, Athens, Greece, 13-15 July 2026
You are invited to take part in the World Festival of Indian Dance. For the forth time select performers from so many countries will showcase their work. A most respected organizer (a national dance theatre with a 73 years history), a most illustrious venue (under the Acropolis of Athens, cradle of Western civilization), a high level audience (hundreds of dance professionals). Last year 129 dancers from 13 countries presented 46 performances.
Specifications
– Open to companies, duos, or soloists, with or without live music.
– Only classical Indian dance: Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Kathakali, Kuchipudi, Manipuri, Mohiniyattam, Odissi, Sattriya, etc.
– Performance time: 5 minutes for solos; additional time for companies.
– Performers must be registered with the official organization: CID at UNESCO. Non-members can apply for membership at www.CID-world.org
– Schools can award the International Certification to their students during a special ceremony
– Assistance for visa to the European Union for performers and accompanying persons
– Opportunity to combine with a holiday in a top tourist destination
